The Development of My Personalized Aesthetic Perspective (page 4/4)

The specific use of bottle forms has changed to encompass a more full range of covered jars and other familiar traditional ceramic forms. The surfaces are painted or airbrushed to make a much more dense, rich light absorbing impasto surface. Although the surfaces are ceramic, they are now much more fragile and will not stand up to constant handling as will a utilitarian object.
Although the tray arrangements have lost their ability to function through utility in any way other than for contemplation, they are intended to maintain their integrity as vessels.

The objects are pots.
I still maintain and exercise an adamant passion for making usable objects that need to be touched.
I am a potter.
