YOFonts STANDARD About Dipple

Dipple is the font which was not completed at the time of 1993. Then, I felt it was difficult to connect between the dots smoothly, only several letters were drawn. In 1998, I found the function of AdobeIllustrator5.5J is useful to make the shape, so, I started drawing again. Additionally, I started to make a Japanese Kata-Kana complement. Basically, drawn in the grid: 5 height x 4 width, I suppose this is the limit which keeps readablity as Kata-Kana. Dipple is one of the variation from OneZero, designed in 1993: made from a trial font from the series to simulate bit-map in 1992. There is a similar variation; Mod Dot, designed in 1996. These are all based on the image of a type in lower resolution.

Dipple is designed by Yamaoka Yasuhiro 1993-1998.
