About Initia Initia is my earliest type design, the first sketch for this has been done in 1981. Each character is constructed by four arcs; their ratio is 1:2:4:8. Characters drawn in thin lines, are connecting each other without space setting, to built up as some abstract drawing, it is an aim of its design. Digitizing is done between 1993 and 1994. There is an unfinished variation "Full"; filled characters' counters of "Normal". Initia is designed by Yamaoka Yasuhiro 1981, revised and digitized in 1993-1994.
