About Moderno Moderno is my interpretation from the letterforms in Bodoni into Sanserif letterforms. Bodoni is always one of my favourite typefaces, and I wanted to see how Bodoni will look when it is turned into Sanserif style. And, to me, so-called "Humanist Sanserif" typographers' choice of their reference seems always mostly Garamond. My Practica is on the way from it, and now I am trying another way. Moderno is designed by Yamaoka Yasuhiro 1997-2002, work in progress.
